I have been on a very meaningful journey in education since 1988. The experience of building the intellectual capacity, moulding character, nurturing values and shaping the outlook in life of students has been most rewarding to me.
Indeed, all these years, teaching has never been just a job to me. It is a calling from deep in my heart. Hence I thoroughly enjoy every day of my teaching life.
In June 2010, I joined FernvalePrimary School as a Vice-principal.
Having been in a Secondary School all these years, it is a challenge for me to co-lead a learning institution with quite a different setting and system from the secondary schools.
Challenging it may be, guided by our school motto “ DARE TO ASPIRE, COURAGE TO EXCEL”, I shall do my best to support my principal Mdm Bala, in her effort to bring FernvalePrimary School to the next level of excellence.
