Applied Learning programme (ALP)
C.A.R.E. (Contributing Actively; Reimagining our Environment) is Fernvale Primary School’s Learning for Life Programme (LLP) and Applied Learning Programme (ALP). It nurtures students to C.A.R.E for the community and environment. This is a cornerstone to becoming active citizens.
Through our ALP, C.A.R.E. creates joyful learners working together to drive school initiatives. They think critically on environmental issues and generate novel ideas to solve them. The outreach engagements and Interdisciplinary Project Work programmes will enable students to engage communities and eco-partners. The programmes include:

To support the LLP and ALP, C.A.R.E. provides opportunities for students to be confident leaders. Student leaders display leadership qualities through planning and leading their peers in school/community and environmental efforts. They facilitate in meaningful discussions, provide suggestions, and plan meaningful activities together to connect with our school community and various stakeholders. Our student leaders provide support through the following structure:
